Electrical Maintenance Technician

The role
Airport electrical systems do not get to fail quietly. You maintain distribution, standby power and lighting across the site.
What you will do
- Maintain LV distribution boards, panels and cabling
- Service standby generators and UPS systems, including load testing
- Maintain terminal, apron and airfield lighting circuits
- Support fire alarm and access control system maintenance
- Carry out planned inspections and keep test records
- Attend electrical breakdowns on shift
What you need
- 1+ year in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance
- Sound grasp of LV systems and electrical safety practice
- Able to work from single-line diagrams and panel schedules
- Comfortable with lock-out/tag-out discipline
- Willing to work rotating shifts
Nice to have
- Generator or UPS manufacturer training
- HT experience
- Prior airport, hospital or data centre environment
