Turning engineering intent into models and drawings that a shop floor can actually build from.
What you will do
- Produce 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for structural and mechanical components
- Apply GD&T correctly and consistently
- Support design reviews and incorporate review outcomes
- Work with manufacturing on producibility before release, not after
- Maintain drawing revisions and configuration records
- Contribute to technical documentation
What you need
- 2+ years in mechanical or aerospace design
- Strong CAD capability: CATIA, SolidWorks, NX or equivalent
- Sound grasp of GD&T and tolerance stack-up
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and their constraints
- Disciplined about revision control
Nice to have
- Aerospace structures experience
- FEA capability
- Familiarity with airworthiness or certification documentation
