CNC Machine Operator

The role
Setting and running CNC machining centres on precision components where the tolerance is the product.
What you will do
- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning centres
- Load, prove and edit programs; adjust offsets
- Select and manage tooling; monitor tool wear
- Inspect first-off and in-process parts against drawing
- Maintain production and inspection records
- Carry out operator-level machine maintenance
What you need
- 2+ years operating CNC machines in a precision environment
- Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T
- Fluent with micrometers, verniers, height and bore gauges
- Working knowledge of G-code
- Consistent attention to tolerance and finish
Nice to have
- Multi-axis machining
- Aerospace alloys: titanium, Inconel, aerospace-grade aluminium
- CAM software exposure
